I can't wait to have you aboard, so let's go ahead and get these pesky rules out of the way.
1. The golden rule of e-fedding, no racist, sexist, LGBT insensitive or otherwise potentially upsetting remarks on these boards. Playing a character and making certain comments in this vein is understandable, but be sure that what you are saying will not be taken out of context and viewed as offensive. Those who continually fail to abide by this rule will be let go.
2. Weekly shows will be on Friday Nights, whether they are the weekly show (Riot), or one of the Super Card shows (pay per view esque). I am going to work diligently to ensure that each show is posted on Friday as well as the card for the following week's show, so that roleplaying can begin immediately.
3. RP deadlines for all shows will be 12:00 midnight on Thursday night, Friday morning? Whichever it is, I'm sure you know what I mean.
4. If you would like an in ring interview segment, or a backstage event to take place on the show, let me know in a pm or e-mail, and send it to me before I post the show. If I don't get it before I'm ready to post the show, well then I can't put it on there now can I.
5. If you would like to perform a run in to attempt to start a feud or alter a storyline, pm me or e-mail me to let me know. Not all of these requests are going to be honored, but if it's something you would like to do it's worth letting me know so that I can make a mental note of it if nothing else.
6. There is no RP limit, other than to make sure that you RP at least once. Failure to RP is ensuring a loss. On the flip side of that, don't think that if you post 1 RP a day every day leading up to the show, to a grand total of 6 RP's, that it's going to guarantee you a win. While I want very much to reward your hard work with a victory, it's important to evaluate the content of RP's and not the quantity. Lengthy RP's are seen the same way. Just because you wrote for longer, does not mean you did a better job of selling a match and building your character, which is what this is all about.
7. You may have noticed that you will not have to give me a sample RP in order to be accepted here. Why is that you ask? Because I want you to be here, what's the point of evaluating your RP's when my ultimate goal is to have a roster of guys who want to be here. If you want to be in, fill out the application and come in and get started.
8. Upon being accepted you will be booked on the next show against a Jobber, unless you join the fed too close to the RP deadline, in which case I'll probably PM you to ask if you believe you have enough time to get one in before the deadline. Your dark match against the jobber is your opportunity to show me that you will indeed be actively roleplaying and not just joining the company just to abandon it and leave me hanging come show time. With that in mind, I will not be writing a full result for these Dark Matches against jobbers, but rather a summary. This way you are getting a little something for doing your RP, but you will not get full detailed match results until after you get past your Dark Match. If this is upsetting for you, keep in mind that this very system is a big part of the reason why I took out the Sample RP portion of the application that so many feds still use to this day.
9. You may notice over time that we do not have a Super Card show every month. This company does not have a cable or pay per view deal, and does all of there shows on streaming services online. And to be honest, I think that having fewer Super Cards makes them much more meaningful. It also makes our weekly RIOT shows more important in my book.
10. Finally, I would prefer it if each user only handles one wrestler, that way we do not get into situations where a person has to roleplay against him or herself. What I would absolutely love to see though, is for single users to have a singles wrestler and a tag team. If you want to be in control of more than one character, this is the way to do it. You'd have a total of three with your singles guy and two tag team characters. Also, it is a pretty common rule that you do not use other folk's characters in your RP's without their permission. Feel free to use the staff members that are listed, other than President Bishop, as he is MY character.
